Costumes, Props and Puppet

The challenge of designing an iconic story like The Cat in the Hat, is to represent the story as originally intended.  Audiences, both young and old, have expectations that the world of Dr. Seuss will be as seen on stage as it is in the book. 

Props, costume pieces and fish puppet were constructed out traditional materials but included engineering methods to facilitate moments that required complex physicality of actors interacting with props.
